The American Planning Association’s Economic Development Division serves approximately 1,500 planning professionals involved in all areas of economic development planning, including business and industrial park development; capital improvement planning; community and neighborhood-based development; construction management; downtown redevelopment; financing; growth management; historic preservation; industrial recruitment and development; information technology/GIS; housing; military base reuse; real estate market development; resort and tourism development; transportation; urban design; and many other areas.
We’re currently looking for sponsors to support the Economic Development Division reception and awards at the National Planning Conference! This event gets the attention of all of our members at the National Planning Conference and throughout the year through coverage of our News & Views newsletter. Our NPC event sponsors will be recognized at our reception and awards event with a chance to address the group during the welcome. They also become a News & Views sponsor for one issue at no additional cost.
